Friend of mine to going to disney for the first time and wants to hit up a water park. I gave her my opinion but would like others.

I am going in May and had the exact same question. I have twin 6 year olds and am concerned there will not be enough for them to do. After researching it seems that Blizzard Beach would offer more rides they could do based on the size restrictions. The websites look as if they can do several of the family slides. I know at Typhoon Lagoon most have a larger size limit. Any other advice would be appreciated.

My kids loved Blizzard Beach when they were that age. I have not been there in years, but they had a zip line over the water that they dropped into. They also had a little course type area where the kids walked on floating (fake) ice burgs while holding onto ropes. My daughter is now 14 and still talks about how much fun she had there.

I think Blizzard Beach is the more family friendly of the two, with more for families to do together and more for younger kids.
