That show is the funniest thing ever!! I wasn't hooked on any reality show until this one!(guess that isn't true-I used to watch Kate+8)

The funniest part of the show is this Candy Appel group -they keep showing a farm and the animals for the rural Ohio setting the studio is located in.

When my youngest danced in Ohio she danced in a converted barn on a farm. Their studio s one of the top dance companies in the country. In fact, the director was asked first to be on the show with her daughter and turned them down.

Funny stuff (and nothing like our experiences with dance competitions). Anyone else watch it?

We LOVE IT! My 4yr old is in her very first year of dance and loves to watch the big girls on the show and hopes someday to be able to dance with the competition dancers at her studio..

Must be some of the girls at my daughter's day care watch it too because they hold "dance class" every afternoon after school and even have a pyramid of the dancers to see who gets a solo! so funny!

Did you see that they are going to do a spin off Dance Mom's - Miami?? I hope they all come head to head at a competition somewhere!

I watch this too. I have to say Abby drives. Me nuts! She's so incredibly nasty to everyone. I understand her studio turns out excellent dancers but there is no way I would put up with her. If I had a little girl I would never let someone talk to her the way Abby talks to the girls on the show. The woman who runs Candy Apples has a few screws loose herself. My favorite little girl is Chloe (I think that's her name). She has the sweetest personality and she's so cute!

I haven't gotten into reality TV until recently and I don't watch any of the Real Housewives shows...but, man, I cannot get enough of Dance Moms! My younger sister used to dance and while she did not dance competitively, some of the girls at her studio did and some of these women are just like the moms in this show.

I was trying to think of which adults I liked the most and to be honest...I don't like anyone of them, truly. Their kids are the most mature people there! But, Cathy does have a few screws loose for sure!
