The fire was small and on the astro orbiter according to news. It happened around 9:30 and tomorrowland was closed for about an hour. It has reopened but the ride is closed for inspection
Your attention please, the Walt Disney World Railroad is now boarding for a trip around the Magic Kingdom
This is the 2nd fire recently at WDW (tiki room being the other). Wonder if their inspections are getting a little more lax?

No! It is reported this morning that it was an overheated lamp in one of the globes at the very top of attraction. It shorted and smoldered. Not really a fire. Even inspections won't locate a bulb about to burn out anymore than you looking at a lamp bulb can know its about to go.
26 years staying at the Polynesian There's a great big beautiful tomorrow, shining at the end of everyday...
Twenty six straight years staying at the Polynesian

Thanks for the update, I agree that could not be caught.
