Is there a US holiday or some other special event during this week. We are hoping to go to WDW during that week, but any specials that are avaible are not available that week. You can get specials the week before and the week after but not this week. We're probally not using the specials so that is not the issue, but if it is a holiday we would prefer a less crowed time. This is the week of Veteran's Day, which is November 11th.

With the national holiday falling on a Friday this year, you will probably see more folks making a long weekend of it than in past years.

This also happens to be the dates of "Jersey week." A LOT of people from New Jersey visit Disney that week due to a teacher conference that makes a 4 day weekend. That could be why those dates aren't available, because crowds will be higher than the weeks before/after.

It is also the last week of F & W which usually adds to the crowds.

That's why we're going that week! Actually, we'll be there the week before, so we expect higher crowd levels, but mostly on that Thursday and Friday. We were lucky, too, because we got in on the "original" free dining dates (before Disney changed them).
