    Default October @ Fort Wilderness

We are planning on a WDW trip on October of 2013. We will be going with my 2 kids and my parents. We area all campers. I have a pop up and he has a hard-sided camper.

We would like to be on the 1500 loop, but will my parents be able to go on that loop as well? It's a bigger camper, like 30 ft.

And how busy is the campground at that time? Will I be able to make a request for the 1500 loop and get it?

Thanks for the advice. First time Camping at FTW!
Well, now I have to figure out how to take kids to WDW. Shouldn't be a problem...

    Next trip Fall 2013.

We always tent camped so can't help with the sizes of the sites compared to the sizes of the units.

We've found October to be a great time to camp at Fort Wilderness. While requests are never guaranteed, we've been lucky enough to not be disappointed when we made requests for particular areas of the campground.

1500 loop sites are smaller. There are no sewer hook ups in the 1500's

    Default October

We stayed in the cabins last October. It was neat to see all the campsites decorated for Halloween.
Some of the campers really went all out.
The resort was NOT crowded at all.

    Default 1500 Cottontail Curl

    Greetings,
I have camped in 1500 before.
I have a long Pop Up 24' from ball to bunk end.

The 30' should be no problem we had lots of room in the back and front of our site.

You will be close to the Pool and the nightly movie!

You will need to use the bus though to get to the Settlement or Outpost

    A bike comes in handy
