Key West to Orlando

Hey there - FINALLY - Honeymoon Planning! We are contemplating three days in Key West and three or four in WDW. Couple questions-
1- we are NOT lay on the beach kind of vacationers, so I am hoping to find plenty of activity in Key West- can someone give me ideas?
2- Any tips/input/ideas about flying from KW to WDW?

Looking for any and all input!

Small airport...small plane...I did the flight ten years ago, on a layover to Detroit. Spent the day at Disney...

We've been to Key West several times. Go parasailing, take a sunset cruise and watch the sunset each evening at Mallory Square and enjoy the performers and crafts displays. Hemingway's house tour, Lighthouse tour and walk through the old cemetery. Visit Truman's little Whitehouse. Wonderful restaurants too. Hope you enjoy it.

Wife and I did the Keys last September - though we based ourselves in Islamorada. We went to KW for one day - had a pretty good time. Enjoyed Mallory Square at sunset. Enjoyed Mel Fisher's Treasure museum. Spent the rest of the day doing duval street with its shopping and bars. Be careful as to when you go as Key West is host to several "colorful" events that you may or may not want to be around

One, more thing -- the Keys really don't have much in the way of beaches. So that really is not what it is about.
