Are there any characters at the waterparks?

Nope. There are statues of the "mascots" of Blizzard Beach (the snowman family and the alligator), but no characters per se.

Lilo was at TL last June at the front of the park, near the station where you rent towels & get life jackets. I only noticed it because we had just left Poly & had breakfast with Lilo there. I wasn't expecting to see any characters at a waterpark.

When we were at Blizzard Beach a couple of years ago, we met Goofy when heading for lunch. I was a little disappointed, he wasn't in anything special (clothing wise), just his regular outfit.

The pictures with him are cute, since DD and I were soaking wet in our bathing suits.

I have thought for years that the characters were afraid to be around water. Years ago Max was at our pool at the Polynesian and about drowned when a group of kids mugged him. They were jumping all over him and pulling him under water. I would have been afraid too!

saw Lilo and Stitch at Typhoon Lagoon last week. I think its a daily thing, as there was a picture area for them etc. Its right near where you can purchase the premium shade area etc..
