Transportation from Bonnet Creek to WDW

Hi all,

I know some have stayed at the Wyndham Bonnet Creek. Our family is heading down to WDW Feb 2012. There will be 8 of us. For adults and 4 children (8, 5, 18 mth twins).

We do have 2 connecting rooms already reserved at POP and I would love to stay on Disney, but cost and convience might cause us to move. (kitchen, larger beds, etc.)

How often does the transportation run from Bonnet Creek to the parks? Is it just certain times of the day like some hotels or is it pretty frequent.

Any advice would be appreciated.

If you go to the Bonnet Creek website you should be able to find the schedule of transportation it provides to the Disney parks. It looks like there is transportation every half hour to the Magic Kingdom but that transportation to the other resorts runs less frequently.

Drop off/pickup is in the middle of the parking lots. Remember there are noovered stops out there. In a downpour or sunnt day ths can get unbearable fast.

For convenience, its tough to beat on-ite accomodations.

For the location you can't beat Bonnet Creek, however...you do not have access to all things Disney from the resort, such as the WDW busing, so you can either take the hotel bus, which runs limited or pay to park at the parks.

The resort itself is beautiful, large rooms, beautiful pools, it's location is great, right next to the Caribbean Beach resort. It's only negative is that it's not a Disney resort.

You might see my Bonnet Creek thread under Accomodations: on the HIlton web site, it states that the resort is 2-3 miles from HS, EP, AK, 6 miles from MK; you need to keep in mind that the shuttle will go to MK first, then two of the three other parks, so your roundtrip time can add up, depending on the park you are going to. You are dropped off in bus stop #1 at the TTC for MK, & in the parking lot for the other resorts. The drivers are friendly, the buses have movies playing continuously; it was a definate change if you are used to Disney on-site transportation however. The resort & pool is great. Good luck!
