Tahiti building. We picked it for close proximity to the TTC. I don't think the lack of hot water was because it was all used up. The sink faucet was scalding hot. I think the low flow shower heads create such a skinny stream of water, it cools as soon as it hits the air.
Now I am all for conservng and/or saving a buck, but c'mon. Im on vacation: I want a hot shower. I don't want to be reminded of my time in the Army back in the day.
Did you let the hotel know about this problem? From my hotelier background I can say that there are many things the guest will be able to discover that the hotel may not notice or will take longer to detect than a guest living in the room and that is definitely one. We don't shower in the guest rooms afterall. We simply don't use the items on the rooms as frequently or in the same way as guests.
Hotels appreciate hearing this kind of complaint and I doubt any would want you to have a cold shower. Reputable hoteliers, and Disney is one want to know and want to address these things.

I just figured it was something that was not/ could not be fixed. I think it was just that low flow showerhead. The streams of water were so thin coming out there is no way they can hold the heat.

Physics are against that. All objects have heat inertia (including buildings themselves). It takes time to put the heat energy into the water and time for the heat to dissipate. The fraction of a second the water would be in the air isn't nearly long enough for it to lose heat from around 120 degrees.
Besides, hotels don't want people to have cold showers, a great way to hurt reputation and business, so they wouldn't use something like that. Complain in the future, the hotel will actually appreciate knowing about it.

Back in December when we stayed those in our group who showered early- 6 am or so had cold showers. Those who showered later (Me) around 8 am or so had warm showers. Hawaii building. This is the one thing I forgot to mention in my complaint amongst broken closet, broken sink faucet etc.

Considering the price you pay to stay there I would have definitely said something on day 1 at least they would know about it and you would know if they were able to fix it.

welcome to the 21st century, it probably is an anti scald shower head. that is, a shower head that detects an unsafe water temperature and automatically reduces the flow to a trickle to prevent burns, water flow restarts when the line cools down to a safe temperature. so don't put the water on totally hot to start your showering
