Default ? Soft opening for Osborne lights?

Does anyone know whether they ever do "soft openings" for the Osborne lights or do they wait until the official night to flip the switch? We will be at WDW 11/5, 6 and 7 but have to leave 11/8/10 in the afternoon. If there's a possibility, we would like to see them and would head over to DHS. We were at EPCOT the Thursday before F&W and noted the "soft opening" with the booths open. Thanks.
Too numerous visits to count. Resorts stayed at include:

    Bay Lake Tower
    Contemporary
    Fort WIlderness
    Beach Club Villas
    Yacht Club
    Board Walk Villas
    Swan
    Dolphin
    Polynesian
    Port Orleans Riverside
    Saratoga Springs
    Animal Kingdom Lodge
    Wilderness Lodge Villas
    WIlderness Lodge

No "soft opening". Testing is done in the early morning hours when the park is closed.

What is the official opening date this year? We arrive 11/25. Wondering if they will be on by then.

    1) They scheduled day IS the day.
    2) No soft opening.
    3) All they do is flip the switch.
    4) They have been doing it for too many years.
    5) Schedule this year is Nov-8th thru Jan-3rd.

    1. I haven't been on this board in a long time.
    2. I'm glad to see that Rusty still answers in lists.
