WDW Insiders Character Utility

Hi everyone,
I've been spending a bit of time scouring the WDW Insiders Character Finding Utility lately and it has quite a bit of useful information. However, when I click on very rare characters such as Darkwing Duck or Big Bad Wolf, it says that they've been seen in 2010. I'm sure that if characters like these were seen recently I've had heard about it here. When it does say that these type of rare characters have been seen in 2010, it usually either says at the Hollywood Animation Building, the Magic Carpets of Aladdin, or Camp Minnie-Mickey. I was just wondering if this site is really reliable, or if these character sightings are viable and I should get my hopes up. Thanks!

I have not heard anything from either of these characters in over a year, but that does not mean they have not been out. However I doubt it. While some obscure characters have appeared this year at those places I do not think any rare character have appeared this year with the exception of the training locations. These training locations are fluid and I am not sure where they are as of now. I do know the area between France and England by the bridge has played host to Meg and Malficent recently.

I think anyone who said they saw Darkwing really saw Launchpad and didnt know the difference.

Big Bad Wolf is walking in the MNSSHP parade again this year.

One other thing, that site is mostly reliable, but I wish they would moderate the posts. There are a few whackjobs on there...

I have seen that site and I do not believe that the character sightings are always meet and greet characters. Sometimes users update with information from parades and shows. I have heard of Darkwing Duck making appearances at the random spots at the beginning of this year but nothing ever of the Big Bad Wolf.
