My point, though, is that it is not 100% that the original plan won't go forward. That actually still is on the table and no final decision has been made. Then tell them... WE WANT VILLAINS!!!!

Don't underestimate Disney's ability to squeeze something minor like Pixie Hollow into an existing area. Methinks the Rose Garden in front of the castle will see the end of its days soon...
The perfect spot is the area where Fantasyland Skyway Station is currently located.. Right across from Peter Pan's Flight.. Makes a ton of sense to me...

The February park hours just came out and MSEP is still listed for then...so it looks like it should be there for you in January.

It's great news for us as we've never seen this parade before, and are due to fly out barely 10 days after it was originally due to finish!

That's what we're hoping for!

I am looking forward to seeing ELP in October - I was so disapointed when it was originally due to finish before we visited!

I've mentioned that to them last year when the Fantasyland project was first announced. The response I got was "too much of a niche market." My response was "What the heck do you think Pixie Hollow is?"

Agh.... Pixie Hollow is a flash in the pan... They need to stop catering to Marketing and just do it!!! A Villains Lair would rock!!!

I am truly excited about this news. I cannot go during Summer because I cannot stand the crowds. I have not seen this parade since I was a little kid and have faint memories of it. I cannot wait until we see it in October. I pray it will still be there.

I am bummed! I have seen both parades and SpectroMagic is my absolute favorite. We are going in January (haven't been in almost two years) and I cannot believe I won't get to see Spectro. Oh well, my kids have never seen MSEP so that will be a positive. Not to mention that I will still be in the Happiest Place on Earth!

Truth be told, I think most of my love of MSEP comes from the opening build up. Spectro never gave me chills like MSEP. When those lights cut out, its magic! When the Spectro lights go out its...well, time for the parade. I'm not sure exactly why that is...

I am so happy that there's a possibility we can see it next June - we can only go every two years and we couldn't make it this summer - this is the parade I remember seeing as a child and I can't wait for my kids to see it, if it's still there that long!
