No charge for ice but I suggest you get it early. I had to search all over the building I was in last year for one that had ice in it.

No charge, but when people go back for an afternoon nap, the ice disappears quickly. So, before you go to the parks, go fill up your container and put the whole darn thing in the refrigerator, if you have room. It should hold up most of the day.
WOW, they charge $2.50 for a half bag of ice at Fort Wilderness... CRAZY!!
Probably not quite the demand at POR since the rooms have refrigerators.

No charge for ice at Pop last September. Just had to go to another floor, because the one by my room stayed broken.

Goodness! I've never ever been charged for ice when staying at a hotel - Disney or not. I also don't recall having any problems getting ice.
However, when camping, we've always had to pay for ice to keep our coolers stocked. We haven't camped in quite a long time so I'm not current on the going price for ice!
