Garden Grocer

Has anyone on this site ever used Garden Grocer to deliver their groceries to a Walt Disney resort? Did you have a positive experience? I came across their website when planning my trip for next month. Since airlines charge more for luggage now I would like to avoid bringing groceries down in my luggage.

We used them a couple of years ago and had no problem. The order was correct. Bell services brought it to our room and it was on time.

Used them this week. They called a few minutes before they came to check our status. Gave it to bell hop and it was brought right up. Order was right!! Best thing I have done..liked not having to stop at the store on our way in. Price was a little high, but well worth not having the hassel!

We never use a grocery delivery service, since we have our car with us, but there is a good discussion of the good and bad about Garden Grocer in this recent thread

We used them several years ago and have placed an order again for our January trip (only snacks, soda, milk etc. since we have the DDP). Our experience was great and I definitely recommend them.

We have used them five times and have never had any problems...yep, it's probably more expensive than shopping yourself, but we use Magic Express and don't have a car...much better than paying out of pocket at the parks or stores. Especially good for baby stuff, diapers, wipes, baby food...etc.

Thanks for the advice everyone. Since we will be using Magical Express I think we will go ahead and order from Garden Grocer. Their prices may be high but they are much cheaper than buying food at the resort. I especially like they carry baby supplies. Diapers take up a lot of room in a suitcase.

we used the Garden Grocer this past October (even though we had our car). It was great!!

They called and let us know they were running late, okay, no big deal, we just hung out at the pool until they called my cell phone again.

The bell hops brought everything up to the room.

What I didn't realize was this. Since we were still at the pool, the bell hops beat us to the room. They left all the non-perishables there. They took all the refrigerated stuff back with them to keep it cold. I called down about not getting everything, they explained it to me and brought the rest of the stuff up immediately.

Well, that was awesome. It is great to know that if we are in the middle of something, those wonderful cast members will take care of everything until we are available. That is really good to know!!
