We might be neighbors with Dyann in some upcoming vacations!
Returned from O-town, crunched some numbers and just jumped on the bandwagon. Same nervous but giddy feeling many of you have experienced, I'm sure.
As my DH says though, with our children starting families + our own love for WDW can't fret too much that we will regret this.

We are new members too (from our June Disney Cruise), and are going on our first trip as DVC members in 11 days! While we aren't staying at our home resort (BLT), we just know our first stay at a DVC resort (OKW) will be magical and memorable!

Thank you so much for the warm welcomes. We are already trying to decide how quickly we can put this membership to good use.
Tinkermom, we stayed with our original plan of 160 points. In this economy we felt like it is already a wonderful luxury that we could join at all. There are some other needs and worthy causes that a few hundred dollars could impact positively right now so we decided to wait. May mean we shorten our trips by a day but with the incentive points that we got, and while we are waiting for our family to grow (c'mon kids !!) we can have a lot of fun on that point budget.
Thanks again for welcoming us home. It's taken us 16 years to get here!

Even though we have BLT we might try the Treehouse Villas since this will be low season this may be our only time we can get into one. Never hurts to try! We will still have BLT to fall back on!

I've always wanted to stay in one of the treehouses. Hope you can get one!
We will We tend to take more frequent, shorter trips these days since our DD lives near WDW so maybe we can get one for just a short time. Really looking forward to BLT though.
