Towed from a resort for parking too long?

Ok, so we all know that Disney security guards love to hand out the little parking pass, especially at resorts like Poly, Contemporary, and GF, but has anyone ever been towed or gotten in trouble for going over?

I know I have exceeded that limit plenty of times, sometimes by 5 or 6 hours at least and have never had a problem

Funny Story -- Honeymoon -- Polynesian -- 1988 (Statute of limitations has expired) We parked the Honda and proceeded to Check In. Came back four days later and saw that there was a red stripe painted at the back of the parking spot. In that stripe were the words 15 min only or something to the affect. Nothing ever came of it but we still laugh about it today

It has never happened to us; but we have seen cars towed at both the CR and the Poly when we stayed there (and the last time at the Poly when we went for a visit).

Why would you need to park at a resort 5-6 hours beyond the three hours stipulated on the parking pass?

INTERCOT does not allow discussion about ways to get around the system (whether the rules are enforced or not). Therefore this thread is being closed.
