We did it last year and loved it so much that we will be doing it again this year. The campsite decorations are incredible! There are more decorations in some of these sites than on most houses in my city! It is very crowed, so good luck getting reservations.

Many folks have experienced difficulties getting last minute reservations at Fort Wilderness. If you want to camp in December, I'd suggest trying to make reservations as soon as possible!

You don't say what sort of camping you plan? Tent? Pop Up? RV?

The worst they can say is "No", so give it a try before it really is too late. It really is a special place during Christmas

We have been trying, since July, to get a pop-up site the week of Christmas. I have even tried MJ. Good Luck, though.

We did this 2 years ago.. had the best time. It is crowded and hard to get in so good luck. The decorations are beautiful and people that stay there from year to year.. really go all out. If you get to go.. do it.. it is GREAT..

We had the same delima in 2008, but for us it was Easter week that we wanted to go at the last minute. I tried for two months to get a site. I even went ahead and made reservations for another camp ground near Disney. Then the two days before we left I called one more time, and guess what they had a site for us. So if they don't have anything at first keep trying.
