As long as the bats are outside the cabin, there should not be a problem. After all, you are in a campground. I agree with Ron. Over time, I have seen deer, a very large owl, egrets, armadillos, and other critters at Fort Wilderness. Bats are everywhere - especially at dusk - and are very beneficial in keeping insect populations in check.

Bats? Good heavens!
Keep it quiet - or everyone in Ft. Wilderness will want them, and then there'll be an extra charge!

Agree that bats are wonderful, useful beings but I still would not want them under the eaves of my cabin every night. I've had the rather unsettling experience of being in an enclosed space (a trailer) with one. Having a panicked bat swooping over you as it tries to find it's way out is an altogether different experience for a child (which I was at the time) than watching one in the great outdoors. I would've requested alternate lodging.

YES! I want BATS too! How can we get bats at our cabin!

I wouldn't want bats on my porch, no matter what good they do, just like I don't like spiders in my room! But yes, there is lots of cool wildlife at disney. I personally saw deer at midday from both the WDW Railroad at MK and on the monorail, and we actually saw an opossum in the Haunted Mansion graveyard before we went in!

Only if you've got a belfry to keep them in!
And there's no provision in the stimulus bill for THAT!

Tell your neighbor to turn off the outside lights next time. Lights draw bugs and bugs draw bats... They usually "hang out" at the various rest rooms near the lights for an easy lunch. Really nothing to be afraid of.
Today is a gift, that's why it's called "the present".

We're considering a cabin on our next visit. I get the whole outdoors camping fun, but I would not want to share my accomodations with bats. I would have let someone know.

When we camp we go bat watching. The overhead lights draw the bugs and thus bats.
