To the best of my knowledge, there isn't a deadline for booking transfers. I've heard of guests booking it at the very last minute.

What you need to keep in mind is that the Cruise Line buses only pick up from certain resorts, not all of them.

I suggest that you contact the cruise line ASAP to talk about that, so you can plan accordingly. If you are at a resort that does not have a pick up, you will need to get to our designated pick up stop on your own, I understand.

In September we are staying at the Boardwalk the night before our cruise and they pick up there; in '06 we stayed at Saratoga Springs and they picked up there also.

    Hope this helps.

We have a transfer booked from the Polynesian on our upcoming 3-day cruise. We booked it months ago although we were told we could have done it a couple of days before the cruise.

I have a related question: What time does the bus pick you up at your hotel? What time does it arrive at Port Canaveral? We are planning to get some time in at the Magic Kingdom that morning before getting on the bus. It's an early admission day so we're hoping that gives us an hour or two.

Last year we left from the Beach Club, and the bus left closer to noon, but we had to gather in the solarium at 11:30AM.
This year we are leaving from The BLT at the Contemporary and I expect it will be around the same time.
I remember getting to the port between 1PM and 1:30PM, and were able to get our key to the world cards and walk right onto the ship.
We changed our land/sea to separate reservations so we could stay at BLT...

    Default cost of DCL transportation

How much does it cost to add transportation from a resort to Port Canaveral?
You can use Disney transportation from the airport to a Disney resort without it costing anything extra, Right???
None of this was planned, we all were in driving distance, but now a couple of our party has to fly in... hopefully the night before!

I believe ballpark from resort to cruise terminal is $35 per person/one way. You'd have to call and have it added and just be aware that they don't pick up at all resorts, so you may have to go to another part of Disney to catch the bus.

Yes. Magical Express is complimentary transportation from the airport to your resort.
