Best Option to Make MNSSHP 9/11/09

Hello everyone!
I just booked my trip for September and I realized after I booked that there is a MNSSHP on the night that I arrive. What would you suggest as the best option to make it from the airport to Magic Kingdom in the least amount of time? The flight lands at 6:52pm and the party starts at 7pm. I'm guessing that my best bet would be to rent a car and drive directly to Magic Kingdom instead of using DME to the hotel and then waiting for a bus to MK.
I'm open to any suggestions though!

You still have to plan time to pick up your luggage and get your rental car. Traffic entering the Magic Kingdom can be very heavy on party nights. I remember arriving once when, I believe, the Christmas party was going on. It took quite a long time to get through the Magic Kingdom gate and get over to our resort (Poly on that trip). I would suspect it would be or 9:30 before you'd get to the Magic Kingdom. Personally, I'd opt to go to the party another evening (if possible) or skip it if I were going to be that rushed to get there.

Thanks for the reply...Unfortunately, that night is the only option. My brother is joining me for the first few days of the trip and he has never been to MNSSHP. He is also leaving before the next party (the 15th).
Oh well...We'll have to see.

We'll be right there with you except for the 9/11/09 Party. We originally ordered and received 9/11 MNSSHP tickets. Then after more planning took place we cancelled those and chose the 9/18 MNSSHP because we wanted to be in the MK for the last night of our Disney Vacation.
