Live Update: It's Stinkin' Hot!!!!

I am working on a fully detailed (Meaning, extremely long) trip report that I'll post upon returning, but I thought I'd pop in and tell everyone it's been ridiculously hot these past two days. It's been in the high 90s with the actual feel being anywhere between 105-110. There has been a lot of ride breakdowns- We got stuck on the outside portion of Test Track, on a slant, throughout Illuminations. Thank goodness it was night. Pirates and Big Thunder were both shut down for a decent amount of time today, and when we finally got on Pirates, the Davy Jones effect was not working. To illustrate how hot it is, I am known for having a weak bladder and needing to take lots of rest room breaks, yet I have not had to go at any of the parks in the past 2 days- I think I'm sweating it all out! Despite the heat, we are having a great time and I can't wait to share the details when I get back.

Make sure you drink lots of water! Sounds like you might be mildly dehydrated!

I think I am. We were conscious of dehydration and did drink a lot of water, but it wasn't enough as I did hit a wall and start getting a headache and feeling weakaround 7. We are relaxing now and will bring more water with us tomorrow.

I'd rather be hot at Disney than cool at home anyday. So, I do feel for you, but not THAT much.

Figured I'd pop in again while I still have this 24 hour internet connection. Studios was super crowded (EMH). We got through the turnstile at 8:07 and Toy Story already had a 40 min wait and 10 min fastpass line. Tower of Terror was only running 1 elevator, then completely broke down (but it's back up now). The heat is just too much, but the people keep coming! We left around 12 and are chilling at the resort for a while.

Gotta chime in here ... yesterday we were at Epcot and Downtown Disney all day, and today at MK and Epcot at night. It's really has been unbearable. We were at Rose & Crown tonight and they seated our group of 15 outside on the patio .... in a section where the sun was hitting four of our party.

By the time dinner was finished, I felt like I wanted to die.

Weather.com says tomorrow will be more bearable. God I hope so, because this is ridiculous.

Keep drinking water and keep enjoying. I'm doing the happy dance for the little bit of sun we've gotten here today (Maryland). We were in the Pocono Mountains yesterday and it was cool and cloudy there. Northeast weather is depressing this summer. Can't wait for WDW in 90 days!
