teardrop characters

Not sure if this has been asked before...do the same characters come out at the teardrop all day or do they switch up characters throughout the day? I dont want to waste my time waiting all day for characters if its going to be the same ones. I understand that it is just a random character spot and they only come out at certain times, if at all, but just want to know if they change up throughout the day. Thanks!!!

It usually is the same characters out that day.

Actually it just depends on the day.

Most of the time they have sets it is in fact one group. However sometimes I would say 25% of the time they will have another group of totally different characters come out following the first group.

It would go something like this:

6 characters come out at lets say 11:00 they would stay for roughly 15-30 minutes. Then anywhere from 5-10 minutes would pass and another different group of characters would come out.
They would then do the same thing at 12:00 and 1:00 depending on the schedule, back to back sessions. I have never been to Disney when they have had three different groups.

You can always ask a CM who is there if there will be another group coming out. Sometimes you will get a CM who will be nice enough to tell you but sometimes you won't.

So, Greenlawler, what time would you suggest for me to go to the teardrop? I will be in the MK Sat May 2 and Sun May 3. Also, does anyone know any inside info as to what characters may be out(Captain Jessica)? Thanks!!

I cannot tell you exactly, best bet...anywhere from 10:00-2:00. I know that does not help. We usually stay in the Toon Town Area from 11:00-1:30 or so. The teardrop usually is not active after 2. We have three boys so they love the stuff there. We just try to check back there every top and bottom of the hour. I would say your chances are 50% on a Saturday.

HMMM if I was forced to say..check at 11:00 and wait till 11:10. Go do something ride the train etc..Then check at 12:30 wait till 1:05 that does minimal damage to your park time.

I think a current CM would have to answer that, but it is rare that the Teardrop is not active at least at some time during a weekly visit.

the Teardrop is located in Toontown. If you are facing the train station, it is the area off to the left.

Newer characters get tested at the Tear Drop because it is not well known.

No but I have not been down there. If your looking for the Sherwood gang a better bet would be the Fantasmic meet n greet. Prince John and the Sheriff have been seen there often.
