Default Princess Girls's 40th Birthday Trip-Last Day and Final Thoughts

    Cast of Characters:

    ME: Julie
    DH: Fred
    DD#1: Morgan (8)
    DD#2: Madison (7)

    Resort:
    POFQ
    March 21-28

Our final few hours in Disney! Our flights leaves MCO at 2:45 and Magic Express was picking us up at 11:40. Perfect in my opinion... we wake up around 8:30 and pack up. Good thing I bought the promo Disney bag in the gift shop! It's now Fred's carry-on for all of our purchases. Girls decide they would like to take nice warm bubble baths while Fred and I are packing. This works for me!!
Once packed up, bell services takes our luggage down to the Airline desk and we are checked in for our flight...so easy!
Fred takes the girls to the Arcade to use the 30 minute card from our package and I sit and enjoy people watching on a bench outside of the lobby. Such a pretty resort. I really loved the French Quarter. We will stay here again!!
We have a few counter service credits left, and decide on an early lunch in the food court. I could not deal with the food court every day. The food was good but the service is so SLOW!
As we made our way out of the resort, our Magic Express Bus pulls up. Perfect timing.
Our friends are traveling home on a later flight and spent their last day in the Magic Kingdom.
Airport and Flight home were fine. We met up with some of our other friends that were on the same flight home with us and grabbed a snack with them.
    Some Final Thoughts...
A wonderful trip! Weather was great, everyday but one. Low 80's during the day and 60's at night.
    Crowds were heavy, but manageable!
    Parks were clean.
Bus service was great most days, had one problem one morning, no Epcot bus for 45 minutes. Next day the resort had a CM out in the depot making sure busses were coming.
We were on a bus early every morning and made the most of the days.
We LOVED O'Hanna, Teppan Edo, and Biergarten. These were all new for us this trip.
It was fun being with our friends. We had a lot of laughs, and good times.
It is a true blessing to be able to go to Disney and enjoy being there with my family and friends. My family time together is one of the most precious things in the world to me. God has blessed me with 40 good years and I really enjoyed celebrating in Disney!
We hope to be able to go back in 2011.
    Until my next trip...
    Julie
    Next Up:

    Summer 2018... WE ARE BACK!!!
    2 families
    4 teenagers and Larry
    Taking on the parks!

    Julie,
    Greetings from West Orange, NJ!

I dare anyone to not smile when reading your reports. I so agree with the previous poster about your incredible upbeat and happy attitude. Through your eyes, I saw all the magic you experienced.

You didn't mention your birthday at all in the reports, so let me just say a belated Happy Birthday!

I am taking my family to POFQ in August. That resort is a first for us, and I hope our trip will be as happy as yours was.

    regards,
    Karen
