Default Transfer from AKL to CSR

I'm hoping some of you might have some good suggestions for me. We booked our trip for June 13th-20th at the CSR. My Mother in Law, a DVC member, so graciously offered to put us up at the AK Villas for the night of the 12th. My understanding is that we won't be able to get our park tickets until the morning of the 13th at the CSR. What would be the best way for us (and our luggage) to be transported from the AKL to the CSR quickly the morning of the 13th so we can still have a full day at MK that day?

Don't know if there is really a quick way, unless you take a taxi. Last year we split our trip between SSR and AKL. Disney will transfer your luggage for you at no charge. You might be better to leave your luggage for them and hop a couple buses to get to CSR.

while you could do a luggage transfer and bus hop to CSR, I'd likely just bite the bullet and use a taxi...its lots quicker, not horribly expensive and takes alot of the time variables out of the equation...(i.e. how long you have to wait on the bus from the resprt to the park and from the park to your new resort...and then from your new resort to the park you tour that day....to me thats just an awful lot of waiting and bussing)
There's a great big beautiful tomorrow

We won't be taking two busses that morning. I'm sure we'd all be quite irritable by the time we even got to the CSR. That wouldn't be the best way to start off. We'll probably just take a cab. Any idea what that might cost?

Few bucks. Maybe 10 - 15. Maybe not even that much.

I'm not sure why you have to get your Park tix at CSR though. Why couldn't you get them from the concierge at AKL?

I would say taxi is your best bet.
If you already had your tickets you could just let AKL transfer your luggage to CSR while you're out at MK.

We took a cab one night to get from the beach club to the Polynesian. It was $10. I was pleasantly surprised considering it costs so much to get anywhere else! But it's also really easy to get a cab - there's always a bunch waiting, and you can just tell the concierge you need one, and they'll have one brought right up to the door for you. (but especially if he's packing luggage, don't forget to tip ;-)

Thank for all for your suggestions. As far as getting our tickets while we're at the AKL, I was told by a CM that we couldn't do that since our actual reservation was at the CBR. I guess we can always ask when we get there!
