 Savanahs @ Kidani Village
Sorry, perhaps this info is not even available yet, but if so I am curious. We have an upcoming trip to Kidani Village. Will there be multiple savanahs open this summer or just one? (am I correct in saying Jambo & Kidani will share Sunset Savanah???) If there are multiples, is the info available yet as to what animals will be featured in what savanahs?

Here is the information that I found from allearsnet, "Construction continues on the Kidani Village with an opening date of May 1, 2009 for Phase I. All amenities will open in May including the pool, restaurant, and Pembe Savanna. Animals are already in the process of being acclimated to Animal Kingdom Lodge."
As to the animals, I would assume that the same type of animals that are currently on the Sunset Savanna (ostrich, giraffe, etc) will be on Kidani's section of the Sunset Savanna. The only animal that I know will be on the Pembe Savanna is the okapi, but I am sure there will be more. I would bet that there will be giraffe, as they are on all the other savannas at AKL.
We'll be there in June and we just can't wait!

We just added on for AKV points and watched the on-demand show on Comcast on Kidani and it mentioned that the Kidani savanna will have some additional animals that the original will not.

OMG, I would LOVE to see that! Do you know what it was called or anything? We have Fios unfortunatly. Is there any way to see comcast on-demand on line or netflix anything???

I looked for the on-demand program on Comcast, but it must be out of rotation. I couldn't find anything on the web, either. If any one does, let us know!

Yes! Thank you! I was using the Search feature, which apparently doesn't find much of anything. The path I used (with your help) was:
On Demand > Searchlight > Travel & Leisure > Disney Travel > DVC > A New Village
