I was born, raised and still live in the Philly area. I'm a lifetime Eagles, Flyers, and RED SOX fan.
Call me a fraud or a frontrunner. No biggie.
My father grew up going to games at Shibe Park and Ted Williams was his favorite player, so my pop was always a Sox fan and he passed it on to me.
That's an acceptable exclusion. If it runs in the family, I give a pass for the disloyalty.
Although of all the Philly teams you picked to bail on, the Phils weren't the right choice.

Please stop fighting! I didn't start this thread so ya'll could have an obnoxious catfight! This was supposed to just be a thread for Caps fans, and anyone who likes them could reply. it's not about Bruins, Devils, or Flyers. So if you're a fan, please respond kindly by saying "yes, I love the Caps, go Caps." And those who don't agree with the Caps fans and their opinions, don't reply or get involved. Start your own thread! And don't blame me for starting this, ya'll started it!
Thank you!

"When hinges creak in doorless chambers... and strange and frightening sounds echo through the halls.. whenever candlelights flicker... where the air is deathly still... that is the time when ghosts are present... practicing their terror with ghoulish delight."
Where I come from, we have a name for people who don't root for the home teams.
We call them "frauds."
Does it count if the local pro basketball team (Wolves) has dumbed down the act of running a pro basketball team to the point where you root for the OPPONENT???
