How do we find out if the parks are open or closed due to capacity? Is there a way to call so we don't waste time driving?

Not really because in the time that you spend on the phones, driving there and parking, the park could easily close.

But you can call the Operator from a Disney Hotel phone and they *should* have a relatively accurate update.

Our plane gets in after 4 on Christmas Day. We wanted to call ahead to see if any of the parks were open or if we should just head to our hotel. We're staying off-property so I can't check capacity levels with them. Can I call Guest Services?

I think that's the fastest way to get a live operator who should have the info available.
