We are considering shipping down a box of supplies for the first time. Does anyone have any advice on how to do this? What address do we ship it to and how far in advance can you send it? If it arrives early, how long will FW hold the box?
I just shipped 2 boxes to Pop. I called the hotel directly and asked where how to address it. I was told to send it 10 days before my check in date. I put my name first and then the address that the woman gave me over the phone. Last, you need to put your arrival date. I also added my reservation number even though I was told I did not need to. I shipped my items on a Tuesday and they arrived by that Friday. Once I saw that my packages arrived, I called Pop to confirm. I was told that the packages would be in my room upon arrival.
The cost was 29.00 for two boxes and in my po it was well worth it. I shipped baby formula, diapers, 35 jars of baby food, contact supplies, bandaids, snacks, take and toss cups, take and toss spoons and forks, wipes, all of my beauty products and more. This has been a great piece of mind for me, because I don't have to worry about forgetting any items or paying that lovely fee the airline charges.

I've shipped cases of water to Ft Wilderness a few years in a row now. I have it shipped to 4510 N. Ft. Wilderness Trail, Lake Buena Vista, FL 32830. I normally arrange to have the package arrive 3 - 5 days ahead of my arrival and there has never been a problem. And, I also put a note on the shipping addresss that says something to the effect of Hold for guest (insert name) arriving on (insert date).
When I check in, there's usually a note on the reservation that I have a package waiting. It's been a very easy process.
Enjoy your trip!
