Boardwark room question

Hi,
I was looking at the points for Boardwalk and it lists a boardwalk view room ( which i think is self explanatory) and a preferred view room. What view is that? I would think the boardwalk view would be the preferred? ?

Boardwalk view is just that - a view of the boardwalk.
Preferred view is usually a view of one of the pools or the canal.
Standard view is everything else, like the parking lot. Sometimes you get lucky with a standard view where you can see the Epcot fireworks..

There are very FEW "bad" views at the Boardwalk but having said that, I do prefer either the Boardwalk View or the Pool (preferred) view.

When we last stayed at the Grand Californian, LOLOL We had a view of the roof of the building next door and you literally couldn't see ANYTHING else. It's a different world out there.
