New Family Trip Report Day 3-09/20/08-09/26/08

The start of our second day at the world, 09/22, we went over to Epcot, around 12 again. First got something to eat, the roamed around Innoventions East for a while. When we were done there, we started to tour the countries. I had tried to set up a time for Illuminations viewing at the Rose & Crown, but they were booked solid. We had also wore our Ears this day as well. We decided to get something to drink at the American Pavilion because is started to rain. We then went to catch the Voices of Liberty. In the middle of their performance they stopped and asked us our names because we just got married, they also announced a couple other couples because of anniversaries and then they sang When you wish upon a star for us. Then we caught the American Adventure. After that we walked around some more to ride Soarin and things like that, then we walked back to the countries because we were going to get something to eat. Well, while we were walking a cast member came up to us and asked if we were staying for Illuminations, we advised yes and she handed us to tickets to come back to her when it is closer to the time. We went to Germany to eat at Beirgarten. Well, while I was up getting food one time, our waitress came and asked my wife our names, then they announce it from the front! Then they toasted to us, and gave us each a Gingerbread Man. After we were done there, we went to watch Illuminations, well, those tickets the woman gave us put us right next to the Rose & Crown, prime viewing, and we only shared it with one other couple. We then called it a night and went back to the hotel room.

Thats a great surprise on the tickets. I can never find a good spot to watch the show.
