Believe me, there are plenty of people out there that don't support the military. More along the lines of they don't support the President, but as the President is my DH's boss, you can see where that goes...

Two lifetimes ago, right after high school graduation, I went to work for the Department of Defense as a Secretary-Stenographer, at the Defense Clothing and Textile Supply Center in South Philadelphia. We've had a couple of name changes due to BRAC and consolidation over the years, including a relocation to Northeast Philadelphia, and I'm still working for the agency.

We're currently known as the Defense Supply Center Philadelphia. We are a troop support activity and provide support to the Military in the following areas: Clothing and Textiles, Medical Materiel, Subsistence, and Construction and Equipment.

I've worked in the Directorate of Medical Materiel for many years and was lucky enough to enter a training program which ultimately led to the position and grade I have today. Although my current job title is Packaging Specialist, my previous job experiences as a Secretary-Steno and as a Specification Writer also come in handy on a daily basis. I've had a long and interesting career and I wouldn't change a thing.

I work as an RN on the IV Team, which means I start IV's, give blood transfusion, insert PICC lines, and whatever else the hospital wants me to do. Been doing it for 19 years and love it.

Wow--there are some pretty cool jobs out there! I didn't realize there were so many CM's on Intercot, either.

I'm an RN (lots of those, too!) in an ER and I pick up per diem in PACU. Love the ER-wouldn't want to work full time anywhere else!

I'm currently working on pre-requisites for nursing school. Because I have a previous BA, I only need to take three classes before applying. My ultimate goal is to receive a masters in nursing and become a nurse-midwife.

My DH makes my schooling possible by working for Coors Brewing Co. I tell him all the time about how much I appreciate his hard work, (especially when we take a trip to DW). He's a good provider.

I'm the manager of an editorial department. I am also a writer (humor articles, mostly), although between the full-time job and raising the twins, I don't get much time to do that these days.
