Default Land / Sea Question on Park Tickets

I'm just looking at pricing for different options for a February 2009 vacation. I see you could do the land / sea option and you get park tickets included. At first, I was figuring they were non-hopping tickets, but there is no place to u/g to hoppers. So, what park tix are included in the land/sea package w/o upgrading? Thanks!

I was just on there looking at the 7 day land/sea package for Nov 2009 and the description said they are MYW w/ PH tickets that are included with the package. I didn't know this, but it said you can add the dining plan to your land portion. Hope this helps you.

we went in March on a Land and Sea package and they ARE park hopper tickets. Have fun it is expensive to do it that way (land and sea) but so fun!

Just remember not to add a day to the vacation once you have booked the land and sea. They will take away the dining plan on the land part. It sucked!!!!

Next time, I am using magical journeys and booking the land package separate from the sea portion, that way if we want to make changes we wont be penalized.

I totally digress, Yes they are park hopper tickets. Can you tell I am bitter!!!! LOL

We did the land and sea in Dec 2007 and our tickets were park hopper. The weird thing was though, we had a 7 day park pass even though we were only going be able to go to the parks 4 days.

I was just checking out the disney cruise website, and the tickets are indeed park hoppers:

    "Theme Park Admission
The 7-Night Land and Sea Vacation package includes a Magic Your Way Ticket with Park Hopper Option."

One less thing we need to worry about!

Yes, thankfully, they are park hoppers. We found, that at our price point/range, this was the REAL money saver for the Land and Sea package. (Catagory 12 here, we're just happy to be able to be there ) While many often find it cheaper to book the room and hotel separately, (particularly if you want a higher priced cabin on the cruise, and a lower priced hotel at WDW) we found that our cruise, (in December, the off season) plus the nights at a Mod level resort (or even a value) were MORE expenseive than the package, even without the tickets!

Also, regarding upgrades to the ticket, only the ticket stated is included and available through DCL. However, you can, (as we plan on doing this December) make upgrades to your tickets AT WDW. For example, I believe our package comes with 4 day park hoppers. However, we are going to come back to WDW for an additional 4 or 5 days after the cruise. Instead of getting new tickets, we'll be visiting the front desk at POFQ when we check in for our land and sea package and having them add the extra days to the current ticket. THat way, we only pay the difference between the cost of an 8 day ticket, and the 4 day ticket, thus saving a LOT of money for our extra time at the end.

We were also going to add the Water Park and More option, but since we won't be able to visit PI this time, we're skipping it. But, if you wanted to add it to yours, you could do that as well. Just remember, they won't let you upgrade the tickets through Disney Cruise Line, you have to do it at a resort, or ticket sales booth at the parks, etc.

They are indeed PH passes, so if you are on the 3day Land package you'll get a 7 day PH pass. But the time will expire on the passes one they are used, so if you only use 3 days and dont go back before the expiration you'll loose the days. Pay the extra $90 per pass to include the non-expiring option and the remaining days are good forever. More play time for a future trip!

We have 5 day PH passes, but we're only going to be there for 4. Ah, those crazy disney people!
