    Bring a little of everything.
Mostly was quite comfortable in tees and pants last few times, but on occasion have been hunting for shorts in the shops, as well as the biggest blanket I could find for one of those freezing EMHs....

I've been the second week of Dec the last two years, and both times I was in shorts and t-shirts all week. I would bet the temp has been between 75-85 during the day. I think we have had 1 day of rain over the last two years also, and that was only about a 30 minute shower..

Of course, my in-laws have been a couple times in Dec and the highs were in the 40's..

I'm going in December too (2009 though), and I'm already a huge over-packer as is (and that's packing for one type of weather condition)! I can't imagine what it's going to be like for me next year trying to pack a little bit of everything! Darn those extra baggage fees!!

We've gone a few times in December, and the weather really can vary quite a bit! I've finally accepted that we can easily re-wear cold weather clothing such as jeans, long-sleeved shirts, and sweatshirts -- if it's cold enough to be wearing these items, we're not sweating through them! On the other hand, we often would prefer not to re-wear much of our warm weather clothing. So I no longer pack nearly as many cold-weather clothing items, which take up more room in a suitcase anyway.

When we were there the first week of Dec. 2003, it was just getting to 70 as a high during the day. It was in the 40s in the morning on the day we left. I would plan that it could be cooler during that time.

    We've been twice in December:

In 2003 it was quite cold and we actually had to buy sweatshirts because we weren't prepared..

In 2005 the days were mild 60-s to low 70's, but the mornings and evenings were cool...

My suggestion is to bring clothes that can be easily layered...I took short sleeved or lightweight long sleeved t-shirts, hoodies and jeans....when it warms up you can tie your hoodie around your waist. Remember it can be quite cool around the water at night, so carry a lightweight jacket with a hat or hoodie

We've been once in Dec (2005) and I loved the weather. It did get kind of cold during the evening, definitely bring jackets/sweaters/coats, etc.

    The days were very nice.

According to weather.com, the average high for Orlando in December is 73 and the average low is 53.

We went the first weeks of Jan last trip and it was in the low to mid 80's everyday. Even at night it was still pretty warm. I way overpacked that trip with too many warm clothes.

I live in the South , so I know that it can be shorts or coats on any given day in Dec.

We will be going to WDW in Dec. I am going to wait to pack when I have a 7 day forecast.
I am going to pack one light jacket for each of us, one long sleeve shirt and one sweat shirt and one pair of jeans, the rest shorts and Tshirts we can layer. If it gets really cold we will just buy another long sleeved item.I my have to wash jeans once while we are there. We will probably wear jeans on the plane down.

I have made myself a promise to pack light this time. One thing I usually overcompensate in clothing, is that I think we may change our clothes before our TS dinner and we have almost never done this, so this time I am culling those extra outfits.

Yep--layers. That's the name of the game. And you always can purchase more sweatshirts if needed. A good excuse for more souvenirs.
