Is it possible to get a 1BR at BCV in the spring?

Ugh! I'm so bummed out!
I was really hoping to be able to stay at the BCV at the end of April...but there just aren't any 1BR's. Is it possible that these rooms will be released later, or are they so popular that they've all been rented by DVC members?
The WDW website keeps offering me other DVC villas - or the YC or BC...but we really want BCV.
Advice? Should I just accept that they're not available and change our dates or stay elsewhere; or is there a chance that one will come available if I keep calling...or if I call once it's 6 months out will a whole block become available?

You could always book some place else and keep checking to see if the room you want becomes available, then switch.
I was shocked when I called in May for our upcoming trip to Disney for a quote. We requested a two bedroom villa at the BCV and the agent said it was a good thing we called because there were only two left and we should book then to guarantee the room. I was shocked since the 2009 prices weren't coming out for months!
