The fruit and cheese plate at the Rose and Crown was the first thing to pop in my mind when I read "appetizer." The cheese soup at LeCellier is also fabulous!

Two of our favorite appetizers are from Liberty Tree Tavern (Iunch menu). For me, it's their crab cakes (I honestly think they're better than Kona's) and for DS, it's their Tavern Cheese.
However, the one appetizer that is unique to the restaurant where offered is CG's Sonoma Goat Cheese Ravioli! YUM!

Not sure if they still have these, but at the contemporary they served cinnamon buns called Mickey's Stickies before they brought out your breakfast. Great Stuff.

Crabcakes at Brown derby is hands down number 1. Next, i would say the flatbread or sushi at california grill.
