There is no way to gauge how far in advance you need to book a room at any hotel. If you are going on the weekend, most hotels near the resort are at capacity ... if you know when you will be going, I say book as far ahead as possible! The hotel doesn't charge you for the reservation until you actually stay at the property. Just remember cancellation policies in case something happens and you have to change your plans...

They definitely get more expensive as the date draws near, if they even have rooms available.
BUT...if it shows booked, call them also, because they allocate a certain number of rooms for 'net sales. I have gotten a room by calling when the websites all showed booked up.
