Two Chips and a Miss

So there I was today, walking around at the Emporium, listening to the singers on Main Street, looking at the characters and I saw Chip and Dale over by the flagpole. And I chuckled a bit before I stopped and ran back out the door to get a better look.

What was that shorter lighter thing by them?! Wait, it couldn't have been! It was! The yellow lei, the tight green strapless dress with the flower behind her ear!! It was Clarice, ladies and gentlemen! Clarice was there, snuggled between her two favorite chipmunks!

Well, needless to say, I almost died! I jumped up and down, had a small spasm and ran to point her out to my friend. I wanted to rip off my costume, grab a camera and my autograph book and plow down all the little kids to get to her.

Sadly, I refrained and probably will never see Clarice again.

So this is to say, that I saw Clarice out today in Times Square. She was a surprise character and wasn't listed on the info sheet for the CHIP hotline. Thought some of our Anglers here might have wanted to know.

She regularly makes appearances in Japan. Although every time I've seen her, she wasn't with Chip 'n Dale, but usually Marie.

Pardon my ignorance, but who the heck is Clarice?

The FBI Agent from Silence of the Lambs? I would be shocked to see her as a character at WDW too!

She is very popular character here in Japan, not just in the parks, but in merchandising outside the parks. The Japanese love their chipmunks , so it's not surprising Clarice is popular as well.

Not only Japan, but Paris has her out a lot too! She doesn't seem to be recognized by the majority tough everyone wants to get a picture with her .

Paris also had a little show with the chipmunks and clarice!

I love Clarice, I was obsessed with classic Chip'n'Dale as a kid and Two Chips and a Miss was one of my favorite episodes, the top hats, the matchbox beds, the singing and exploding candy=best episode ever! She used to be a regular at the hat but then they cut her which broke my heart and now she's just a spare. But she's so cute! They do love her in Japan, I order so much merchandaise from Japan that has her in addition to Chip'n'Dale. They love their munks in Japan.

OMG! I SAW CLARICE IN 2006 IN FRONT OF THE SORCER HAT @ THE STUDIOS AND HAD NO IDEA SHE WAS RARE! IT WAS CLARICE ON 1 SIDE AND OPPOSITE HER WAS DAISY!! I stood in line for clarice, but when i was done, daisy left!

She was only in one cartoon with Chip and Dale called Two Chips and a Miss.

It was an old 40's-50's cartoon where Chip and Dale are fighting over her affections. She is a singer at a night club, similar to Jessica Rabbit.
