Started in 33' Prowler 5th wheel triple slide, then a 34' Hitchhiker 5th wheel triple slide
then 36' class A Cruise Master triple slide, now 38' Grand Junction triple slide and have always had some difficulty backing in but always made it.
A fifth wheel. I miss FW - haven't stayed there since 2004. With the gas prices we may as well fly and stay at one of the resorts.
We're travelling from the mid-atlantic states, and frankly, we've calculated that using the trailer and our tahoe, including gas and two nights' stay down and back half-way down, by staying at FW and driving, we're saving about $1800 for the four of us. If there were only two of us, we might only save about $1000. Air fares will go up because of the gas prices, too -- and we calculated using Southwest's cheapest fares. Others might find it the same.

Tent. We dont rough it though. we always bring our carpet, lights, electronics, electric blankets and fans. I think this is fantastic, especially if you are just crashing for the night.

I have stayed in the cabins twice, once pre renovations in the 80's and once post renovations in 2003. We have tent camped twice and borrowed my parents pop-up twice. I really love the cabins, but as a cost saving measure the pop-up works fine .
