    Default Paying for Booking

Just wondering if anyone knows if I book my trip through disney.com, is the entire amount due up front or only a deposit with the balance to by paid later.
I would assume flights have to be prepaid.

    Thanks all!

You only have to pay a 200 dollar deposit on the package. The balance is due 45 days before arrival

When it comes to flights with the Disney package, I don't know how that works because we always are able to get a good price on our own.

We booked flights with Disney this trip and with our trip in November. The entire amount of the flight is due at the time you book the flight and you HAVE to book the trip insurance and that is also due at the time of booking flights. We always do trip insurance anyway so it doesn't bother us. Otherwise it is like COMICGUY said.... 200 dollars down with the rest due 45 days prior to departure. We booked through Disney not disney.com because we are a grand gathering, but you can make payments on your trip at disney.com as well.

I hear Magical Journeys is a great way to book a trip though!! Maybe you should give them a try... we plan on using them for our future bookings.

    Happy Planning!!

I didn't realize it wasn't an option. I was thinking of not actually getting due to the good prices for flights right now.

I think that by have, they really are saying that its highly recommended. I'm fairly certain that it is an optional thing, however I do believe that it is checked as accepted by default. You have to opt out of it.

    Happy trip!

I checked and it is an option you have to "deselect."

    ...one step closer to booking!
