Transportation to Universal

What are my options for getting to Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure from one of the DVC resorts (not sure which one yet).

Any and ALL suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

We're staying at BWV in July. We're renting a from Alamo at the Swan & Dolphin for the day. Picking it up at 8 am. I called we can drop it off when ever we get back and drop the key in a drop box. It $ 56.00 for a convertible for a day. We plan on making a market stop to stock up on the way back.

We're planning to do the same thing but I didn't know you could rent a car at the Swan/Dolphin! We were planning on the Car Care Center. Good to know.

I have taken Mears from a Disney hotel, and the service was okay. The ride was short, but when we go on to back 2 the hotel, it was sooo crowded, and everyone was wanting a seat on one van, so they had to send a larger bus, which took awhile. So, if you are planning to take Mears, just plan because you might have to wait awhile.
