    Question 2 Reservations @ 1 Resort

Is it possible to have 2 Resv for 1 Resort for Consecutive Dates?

I'm hoping for free dining in Aug/Sept '08. But looks like it may start on 8/30. I believe my DD5 starts Kingergaten on 9/3. So that Resv would be for only 3 nights. It seems to too shorts.

Can we arrive a couple days (or just maybe 1 day) eariler w/ another Resv at the same resort. Don't want to have any confusion. Would they change the resv and I won't be able to take advantage of Free Dinning (if offered)?

Also, should I wait to book?

Dont wait to book as you can allways cancel. I would explain what you want to do to guest relations and let them handle it in the way thats needed.

Yes, this can be done, but I think I would contact Magical Journeys and let them help you with this. Always best to have a professional help you with these tricky things. Also, with them you have the same person working with you as opposed to a random different CM every time you call. Plus if a discount is released (no hints as to whether or not "free" dining will come again, but there will probably be something) they will apply it for you automatically.

That said, and MJ can correct if I'm wrong. I don't think you'd have to have 2 ressies. Disney has now gone to day-by-day pricing, so even if only 3 days are eligible for the free dining (or whatever the discount is) you could still get that on the 1 res. It's no longer the system of whatever the price is the day you arrive is the same for the whole length of stay.

    Question

So I wouldn't have to worry about missing out on the Free Dining Plan (if offered).

You think if I book now for those dates, if the promo comes out, they will just appy it to those dates?

Also, not sure of my actual return since I don't really know when school starts yet. I would think it would be better to book the extra night from the begining. If school starts Thurday (instead of Wednesday), then all is OK. If I need to leave a day eariler then I will have just paid for an extra night ($82 plus tax) but I would have an extra day of the free dinning credit so it would balance out. I would just leave early w/ express checkout. Would that work out?

    Thanks.

Yep, you got it right. If/when any promo comes out they will automatically apply it for you without you having to do anything. That's one of the things that makes MJ so wonderful compared to booking yourself.

    Question

I have a Disney Visa card. They offered the free dining to card holders first. If they do that again, will they be able to apply the code or would I have to as the card holder.

    Also... uncertain of departure date.

I would think, it would be harder to add an extra night w/ free dining after the promotion has ended. If I add the extra night from the begining, we would get extra day of free dining. The cost of the extra night would be about the same if we had to pay for an extra day of the dining plan. We would just check out eariler.

Question is... Is this wrong to do, using the extra day for free dining since checking out eariler. I would be paying for the extra night. Could we use express check out? Or do we have to be there to check out during Free Dining promotion? Not looking to scam anyone. Just don't know school start date and when the actuall school calendar is made. By that time, it will be too late.

    Thanks for your help.

I think what you're planning would be no problem, and I know MJ can definitely apply the Disney card holder discount so that's not a worry. I would just say contact them and pose these questions. The folks there are the experts and would be able to give you a definitive answer rather than my guessing. That's what makes them great!
