Ok. So i have gone to WDW in Jan before, but...i was 8. We usually go in Oct/Nov, but because i had to perform in a ballet this past Nov, and i was training in Oct, we chose January 26 - Feb 3rd.
Should I expecting large crowds? And Long lines?
No, probably no long lines or crowds.
But do expect shorter park hours, variable weather and more attractions closed for rehab than you would find in the fall.
Still, anytime at WDW is better than a day at work!

DVC owners at WLV, BCV and SSR Next up: VWL & POFQ Dec 2009 - just adults! On Deck: DCL Wonder Dec 2010... but I'm sure we can come up with something before then!
DH and I will be down during that same time frame too. I'm not looking for crowds either. Compared to visiting in March (Spring Break week), June, October, and November, I'm hoping for the best time in January. Granted the weather could possibly be quite a bit cooler than other months we've visited, I'm going with the 'cooler is better than hotter, especially HUMID hot!!!'
Hope you have a great trip!

We'll be there the same time too - I specifically picked that week bc there's really nothing special going on! THere are big events (cheerleading, football, marathon, winter breaks) going on all around it, though...
The only major rehab that I have found so far is Splash Mountain. Snow White is down too... Plus the seasonal Epcot stuff.

I am going at that time too. I have always did Dec. and wanted to go at a diff. time. I can not wait . I am hoping for short lines, weather is not a big deal and a lot of fun. Last trip for awhile.

We went towards the end of January last year and enjoyed it a lot! The weather was pretty good, the lines were very short, the park hours weren't as long BUT with short lines we still got to do everything we wanted, and we were in value season and had a discount. I was bummed to miss Splash, my fave, but we would for sure go back this time of year again! We enjoyed leaving the cold and snow for the warmer weather!
