Default Boat Charters at Grand Floridian for Fireworks

Has anybody every chartered one of the boats from the Grand Floridian for the Fireworks Display? We are interested in doing this in January and I have no idea where to begin, who to call or anything? I was hoping that someone could offer some prices and misc info on this and maybe a phone number of who to contact to reserve. Thank-you in advance for any information.

These excursions are very popular and fill up almost as soon as they are available.

We just did this on October 6th. You can actually have the boat leave from Polynesian, Contemporary or Grand Floridian. We rented the boat without music because the boats with music were already booked. It was $225.00. The boats with music are $275.00. It was great and we were so glad we spent the money to do it. We got to see the Electric Water Parade up close (twice). Lounging on the boat without having to fight for your space on Main Street to see the fireworks was priceless for our family.

We did the illuminations cruise a few years ago, and really enjoyed it. We are going with a slightly different group this year and are thinking of doing the magic kingdom cruise. Has anyone done both-how would you compare them? Are you close for the fireworks at magic kingdom? Thanks
