Default Happy 25th Birthday EPCOT Center!!

    Goodmorning everyone,

Just wanted to drop a little topic to start off this special day, EPCOT Center's 25th Birthday,

use this thread to discuss what you love about the new EPCOT, or what you miss about the old.

I for one, really miss Wonders Of Life.

My favorite park is having a birthday, and I won't be there to celebrate . I miss the dreamfinder. He played a special part in my very first visit to the world. I wish they would bring him back.

Probably not a better thread for my 2000th post then this one ... Epcot has always been my favorite park since my first trip in 1985. Of course I miss a lot of the original attractions that have gone away, but I do like Test Track and Soarin' (though the Land suffered a little by the increased crowds). I guess my only real dissapointment is that no new countries have been added. Even when I was younger I never found Epcot boring, and liked that it was entertaining, and educational, and not just all thrill rides (even though I love thrill rides). Anytime I go to WDW, Epcot always has two full days on our schedule, while the other parks are schedulded just for one full day. The removal of the hand and wand was a great birthday gift for Epcot.

Happy birthday to the most unique theme park in the world ! I have to say that we enjoy this park almost as much as MK.

I agree that Epcot is a 2-dayer , to really get the total experience . And I hope we get a couple of new countries soon.

As far as things that I miss ..... definately Horizons , World of Motion , Magic Journeys , and the original Journey into Imagination.

    1) I got my 25th Anniversary Button yesterday.
    2) Maybe a little smaller than a birthday button.
    3) However, I was disappointed with the "re-dedication".

EDIT: What they did was OK, it is just that for a 25th I had expected a lot more.
