Default Sea Ray boat rental information?

    Hey Guys,

My fiancé and I have a trip planned to the World October 5th- 9th (We are meeting our Disney Wedding Planner). We visit the parks many times during the year but wanted to do a few different things this time (along with our stop by MGM and DAK). We have planned to try out the Mini Golf and also wanted to try out the Sea Ray "Sea Raycer" boat rental. I can't seem to find out much information about the boat rentals online. I know you can rent these from many different locations but not much else. Does anyone know much about this or have any experiences?

    - Price?
    - Amount of time you can use the boats?
    - Areas you can travel?
    - Discounts for Annual Pass Holders?
    - Best time of the day?

I figure this is the best place to find out information because the "Board Members" have never let me down.

    Thanks for your help.

Not positive of price, seems to me it was just under $50 an hour.

You will be getting a voucher with your package that will give you this deal : pay for 60 minutes, get 90 minutes.

I think we are going to do it this year.

As far as where you can go depends on where you rent it at.

IE: POR : riverways between DTD, OKW and POR.
    Disneyland: many, MANY times!

Am I a huge disney fan? YOU BETCHA! I blame it all on my parents! They are the one's that walked around Disneyland all day to induce labor! Yep, I've been going to Disneyland since the day before I was born!

I seem to remember about $20-$25 per half hour at Caribbean Beach resort. Not sure if prices are the same everywhere. It depends on where you rent them as to where you can drive them. Poly, GF, and Contemp- you can take them on 7 Seas Lagoon and Bay Lake. Caribbean Beach guests can take them in the lake there. Not sure about the resorts.

Just to let you know, with two adults in them they are positively SLOW. You may want to plan on renting two boats. We thought we wouldn't care and would rather share, but next time I'd get two boats.

    Boating at Disney World

Annual passholders get a 15% discount:

    [QUOTE][/Marina Boat Rentals
Receive a 15% discount off the regular price of boat rentals at any Walt Disney World® Resort Marina. Subject to availability. Certain age restrictions apply (excludes Specialty Cruises).
    QUOTE]

I haven't rented this type of boat for a number of years. They do get very slow with more than one adult aboard. You might look at renting a pontoon boat instead. There's lots of room on board and they're very easy to drive.

I don't think time of day really matters.

Generally, I think an hour is more than enough time for a satisfying rental tour.
