I've been stuck on HM where the ghost are in the car with you. Not very interesting.

    Default Expedition Everest

Here's one that hasn't been mentioned yet...Expedition Everest. This is a crazy story. We were at AK the February prior to the April grand opening of EE. EE was in "soft opening" mode, so sometimes it was running and sometimes it wasn't. They were still testing things and all. We happened to get lucky and catch a time when they were letting guests ride it. Anyhow, our group must have been the guinea pigs for testing the emergency exit. We were up at the top right before the track flips and you go down the big drop. The sound effects and the shadow of the Yeti came and went, but we noticed that the track hadn't flipped back yet so that we could go downhill. Then the sound effects stopped and lights came on. Then a voice from above told us to remain seated. Then a little while after that, 2 cast members came to our train and told us that we were going to have to go down the emergency exit. We were also told that we were not allowed to take any pictures!! So, car by car, we all exited from the track and we went out the secret door. We walked down something like 16 flights of stairs and were litterally inside the mountain!! It was so cool. I'm sure that was a once in a lifetime opportunity for me!

I've been stuck on several rides and I think how good a place to be stuck is mostly who you are with/near at the time...
SE where it goes backwards, very happy to relax against the back of the car and hold my husband's hand.
POTC, right by the skeleton at the wheel. Not the most interesting place to get caught but not bad except for the obnoxious boys trying to jump out of the boat ahead of us.
Test Track, near the exit...but not near enough to deboard. Not fun. The little girl in the car with us had a meltdown. I felt so bad for her and her father who desperately made attempts to redirect her from her rage/fear/boredom.

That is a very cool story! Wow inside the mountain. Better walking down the 16 flights than up them.

I was on POTC when it broke down once. (This was back in the 80's on a family vacation with my parents) The CM actually had to evacuate the whole ride and we were taken "backstage". It looked like a junk yard with boats everywhere. Of course my dad was taking pics & a CM came over & told him he couldn't . We still have them somewhere @ my parents house. I know we'd gotten stuck on SE several times and World of Motion too. Those were fun to sit and watch.

    Default Last Visit

Last visit we were stuck on Test Track when they tested the anti lock brakes were stuck on Malestorm at the top of the lift in Nemo and Friends in the bubble tunnel "go with the flow" which was neat for the first few minutes - but the script repeated and repeated and repeated and to this day it is stuck in my brain. Best incident last trip was when we were stuck at the very end in the Tower of Terror - when they show the final movie - the elevator would not turn - so the turned the lights on - the cast member had to get us out a different exit - we got to walk backstage (neat to see) and they brought us right back into the loading area and let us get on - it rocked.

Got stuck on TOT. They had to bring us beind the scenes into the service area where they keep the extra cars not in use at that time. It was cool to see the behind the scenes action you would normally never get to see.

I was on TT last year when it E-stopped. We were on the hilly portion for about 40 minutes, when the lights came up, and a CM escorted each car to the exit. They were very **** about making sure none of walked on the track portion. We had to stay on the "shoulder."

I was in heaven knowing I was walking down one of the original stairwells of World of Motion.

I was on Horizons when it stopped in the middle of the omnisphere theatre which was in my opinion the best part of the ride. You feel like you are flying in their. I believe this was a predessesor to Soarin in it's technology. It was fantastic, we were bummed when the ride started back up.

I think it would be cool to be stuck in HM, but unfortunately the only ride I have ever been stuck in was Spaceship Earth. ha.

Two trips ago we got stuck on Splash Mountain for what seemed like forever. It was in actuality about 20-25 minutes. My sister and I were in a boat together and my DBf was in his own boat a few boats behind us. We got stuck outside in the mountain area, and was it ever HOT! The sun was beating down on us and we were sweltering! What made it worse was that there was water pouring out of a hole in the side of the mountain just ahead of our boat and just barely out of our reach! We would have gladly stuck our heads under there for a good soaking. Poor DBf was stuck inside the scene where Brer Bear is stuck in a hole in a tree, and his big ol' butt was bobbing in and out the whole time while "Zip A Dee Doo Da" played over and over. I don't think he got that song out of his head the whole rest of the trip!

You should go on it with me sometime, EVERY time I ride HM it stops. Ever since my grad night nine years ago I haven’t been able to ride the ride without it stopping. I think I’ve been in every single room of that house! I’m hoping the curse breaks after the refirb.

I think my favorite and my least favorite is Spaceship Earth. Once I got stuck where you just turn backwards and look at the stars. It was nice, peaceful and relaxing. Another time I got stuck in the Rome burning scene. Now I have to hold my breath when I go passed that scene because I can’t stand the smell.
