    Does anyone know if Epcot is having any special events or celebrations for it 25th Anniversary in October?

    There is going to be a re-dedication ceremony but that's it.... No celebration....

    I don't think Disney wanted an Epcot celebration coinciding with the Year of a Million Dreams. Perhaps if we wait another 25 years, we'll all visit for Epcot's 50th birthday!

    Does anyone know if Epcot is having any special events or celebrations for it 25th Anniversary in October?
    Yes, there'll be a " redidcation" cermoney in the morning with Jim Macphee, and some legend WDI will attend. Also there'll be few events for the guests and some BIG suprises on a certain attraction

    I'll defintley be attending that day!

    I hope they do a lot more than just a simple rededication ceremony. I know what would make me real happy...if they brought back the wand!

    I hope they do a lot more than just a simple rededication ceremony.
    But it's better than what was orginally planned, which was not to have ANYTHING for EPCOT's 25th. But don't worry the "suprise" will make up for the simple rededication ceremoney..lol

    I know what would make me real happy...if they brought back the wand!
