How early can I book??

We are starting the planning really early I know , but I was wondering how early we could book our reservations? We are going to the World Oct. 29-Nov. 7 2009 for our DD birthday. We are SUPER excited and can't wait to get the ball rolling. I want to book today!!

We are also planning WAY ahead ( Dec 2008 ) I don't think it is ever too early to plan a trip to Disney!!!

When we called to book they told us that we would have to wait to book our trip until December 2007, so I guess a year in advanced. Not positive on this fact so if anyone else could shed some light would be great!

We are going in July 09 and were told we could book in July 08 so I'm guessing a year in advance also...

We are going in Nov. 2007 and booked everything (Cruise, WDW and flight) in January 2007.

I think that once the rates have been released for when you want to go, then you can book. I know that people are waiting for 2008 package rates to be released...people planning on going this coming January have not been able to book their packages yet, if I'm not mistaken.

So for an Oct-nov 2009 trip, I would think that you would have to wait for the 2009 rates to be released...? Which is usually late July or August, I think.

Please feel free to correct any of this if I'm wrong!!!

I am planning a Grand Gathering for July 2009 myself and am very excited. I would like to book tomorrow but I think 1 year in advance is how it goes.

I will be going through MJ next time around though.
