    Default Carousel of Progress

    Hi to all,
Just wanted to know if one of our faves is still around. The Carousel of Progress, that is.
    Thanks!

When I went last September it was till up and running—hope it's still open when I go again this year (and getting refurbished like everything seems to be). BTW, it's one of my favorites as well (I can never get that song out of my head though).

I was just on the CoP just last week!

This was the first time I actually paid attention to the fact that there is an extra little girl in the first scene. Thank you Intercot for pointing that out! Although now I want to know why!

I read in a couple of WDW guide books that COP will no longer be open seasonally, it will be open all the time!I sure hope this is true! COP is one of my all-time favorites!

It was open when we went in May and I was very happy to find out that my kids LOVED it! They begged to see it a second time. The only problem was that it malfunctioned and we ended up in one 'era' twice, but they still enjoyed it.

Everyone makes fun of me because COP is one of my favorite attractions!!! It may sound weird, but the COP song is how I get my little girl to go to sleep sometimes!!! She loves it also and gets her right to sleep!

COP is the first ride that the family heads off too once we hit the Magic Kingdom. The kids just love it! I would love to know where you can read about the extra little girl in the beginning?

COP is open regular park hours daily now. They have even put new seats in some of the theaters!
Too many trips to keep track of now! Vacation WDW twice a year so any questions ask freely ☺️

    Here is the Intercot topic.

Not that I have a theory...but my ... is she ever called 'Daughter'??? From what I remember of the script, I don't believe so.
