Default Year of 100 Questions: #1

I've been thinking for awhile it would be nice to start a new Disney game. I was considering doing "March Madness" again, but the new poll format only allows one question at a time, so that didn't work. I've already done "Survivor" -- it was fun, but others have kept it alive and improved on it. I did a "Deal or No Deal" a couple months back -- and it bombed. So, upon a minute or two reflection, I decided to use the KISS priniciple (Keep it Simple, Stupid) and have a game thats not really a game at all. Sounds a bit like the old Seinfeld show about "Nothing".

So what I'm going to subject you to is a bunch of questions. All you need to do is answer which you like best. I'm sure many will be one-sided, but I'll try to pick questions that may not have an obvious right choice. The poll numbers aren't important; the success of this will be in your comments.

Some questions may have monetary interpretations. Don't consider money unless I tell you. For example: Grand Floridian vs. Pop Century is pretty predictable, but if I tell you to factor in the expense, its a much different question.

The questions will come pretty quickly (hopefully about 5 a week) and will appear in different forums (mostly Theme Parks, Dining, Accommodations and Vacation Planning), depending upon the subject.

    OK..here comes the first one:

    Tomorrowland Transit Authority or
    Walt Disney World Railroad?

Tomorrowland Transit Authority. I always liked going inside Space Mt and being pulled by magnets.

I went with TTA. If TTA had a wait, I'd probably go with the railroad. TTA's nice because you can hop on anytime and get a quick ride. Sometimes theres a bit of wait for the railroad and it's more of a time investment.

    Default Railroad!

The railroad just gives me such an overall good feeling! I like TTA also, for sure. But the railroad is the first park "ride" you can choose. You can get off somewhere different than you got on. It is such a nice break. I ride it often!!
I'm not bad - I'm just drawn that way!

This was a tough one!! I love TTA because of the view you get while riding it, but I love the Railroad and knowing how much Walt loved railroads sort of swayed my decision.

    Great idea, by the way!

I had to vote for the "couch with a breeze"...give me TTA on this one (but it was close). As I have said in other posts, I would have picked the RR, except for that one random Pocahontas moment...sorry.

I voted TTA. I like them both but I just find TTA to be more relaxing. A nice break on a hot day.

    As one other poster said....

For the love of Walt.....nothing better than those trains. Specially when you are staying at the Poly and you can hear them from a distance.

Everbody loves the sound of a train in the distance, everybody knows its true...

"paging mr. morrow, mr. tom morrow, your party from saturn has arrived" - my favorite ride line

TTA is probly one of my most favorite yet randomly favorite rides.

i love the RR though, but its more of transportation then an acutal ride to me.

Both are excellent rides, and have a similar objective, which is to give a tour of a part of MK. While WDWRR has the advantage of giving a wider scope and having a more classic feel, I voted for TTA because I not only enjoy the spiel, but also because it has almost no wait or line to speak of, just jump on and take off!

I voted Railroad! I love a ride and form of transportation in one!!! While I adore the TTA it drops you off in the same spot you started in.... so the railroad wins.... a nice breeze, a few minutes, and you are in toontown!!! lovely!

Both are great depending on the view you want. I am a fan of the TTA. Wouldn't it be great if it went all over the MK!

Tough choice. I had to go with the WDWRR, love the site of the train pulling into the Main Street Station as you walk up to the gates. It's an awesome site.
